Grindelwald

Deciding we would love to see the Eiger and spend the rest of our time hiking we set up in the breath taking Grindelwald Valley. We took the worlds weirdest steepest train up to the Eiger, occasionally stopping to take in the views and chase a cow off the track. We got off just before it reached the top of Europe, Jungfraujoch, and walked down to the valley via the Eiger.

Our final day we took an impromptu hike upto Bachalpsee, we debated the long day ahead of us and whether we should just leave this walk for a future trip, but we were so pleased we didn’t.. it was stunning and made a perfect end to our little road trip.
