After heading home and surprising the parents for Christmas, Ivan ended up in storage.
Hannah and Andy gave us the perfect excuse to blow the cobwebs off when they decided to get married in the beautiful Val Masino.
Our three week mini road trip began with the baking of the wedding cake… in the campervan. After two days in a sweltering Ivan being harassed by wasps the cake was finished. I celebrated the completion a bit too heavily, leaving me hanging and t-total!!
but still not too shabby for a campervan cake.
The wedding was brilliant in a beautiful setting, and the photos speak for themselves
We remained in the valley for a while, in the company of the guests, spending every day sunbathing /zip lining / climbing / drinking? and generally having a great laugh with friends.
As people started to drift home, we packed up Ivan and said goodbye to friends, and headed over the border into Switzerland.
